When I first started at my library, our juvenile fiction section was full of wonderful series. The problem is that those series were not in the correct order on the shelves. One of the first projects I started after starting my job was working with my cataloger to re-label our juvenile fiction series to make it easier for our parents and children to find the next book in the series they are reading.

One of the first projects I started after starting my job was working with my cataloger to re-label our juvenile fiction series to make it easier for our parents and children to find the next book in the series they are reading.
We label each book with the first three letters of the author's last name, either the book number in the series or an abbreviation of the series name followed by the book number.

This ongoing project will be updated as we get a new series in our collection. We have also started working on our graphic novel collection.
